Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin take what would be just another ordinary romantic comedy and turn it into a fun-filled romp. Streep is divorced from Baldwin and a family thing involving their children brings them together again...and I do mean together. The original victim of "the other woman", Streep finds herself having an affair with her now married ex-husband and becomes "the other woman". The whole thing is complicated, especially after architect Steve Martin gets caught up in the middle of things.
Though I found the film a bit overlong at 2hrs 2 minutes, my wife and I enjoyed this film immensely. But with Streep and company involved, how could you not ?
