Yes, he did. And, he did a good job portraying Harvey Milk. But, the Oscar's are often more about Hollywood politics than substance.

I've heard the deleted scenes are only available on BD-Live or DVD, which makes little sense as the movie and extra only account for about 40 gigs. Was the reason ever announced?
