I sent in my rebates on January 18th, for both BD and HD-DVD. I got the BD a couple months ago, maybe in early March. Been waiting for the HD-DVD's. I called the 1-800 number a month ago, and they said that they would be shipping out soon, and that I would get all five that I requested. (all 5 BD's were also what I requested)
Well, I just got them yesterday, and of the 5, only 2 were what I requested. (Italian Job and U2 Rattle and Hum) The other 3 I wanted, The Hulk, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Darkman, were substituted with Cinderella Man, Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix, and Spy Game. (none of which were even choices in the rebate)
Eh... I wasn't too hot about Darkman, but it was the best choice from that category. But I did want the Hulk and Charlie, so that's a bummer. I've seen all 3 substitutions that they did send me, and of those, only Cinderella Man would interest me as a keeper.
Oh, well. It's free, I guess, and at least I got something out of the dead format. Side note, but they also put a small gouge in the UPC for Cinderella Man and Spy Game, both of which are Universal Releases. Other people have had major gouges in all 5 movies.
If anybody's interested in trading, I'll trade 1-for-1 the Spy Game, and/or Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix, for HD-DVD or BD movies. Harry Potter is a Combo Disc that also will play in standard DVD players. Also will consider trading Cinderella Man, but it would have to be for a better movie I like a little more than the run-of-the mill stuff. All three are still new in sealed packaging.

Probably one of my favorite boxing movies. Although I have not seen umm.....that other popular one with the chick
