Here's a gorefest for you

Planet Terror by that Rodriguez fella. Rose McGowan is the pretty dancer who ends up with a machine gun for a leg. Also has Bruce Willis ( what the hell was he thinking ) as a mad soldier. Some Rodriguez ( probably Robert's relative ) fellow as a hero. Also stars Michael Biehn, Josh Brolin, Jeff Fahey and some others. Kind of a silly story about infected people that love to eat your brains. There's gore by the truckload, etc,etc. Well I didn't regret renting it, but I wouldn't want to watch it again. Just a little too much of a gorefest for my liking.

Picture is jerky and scratchy ( like film ) but is shot this way on purpose. Audio so/so, but there are times when the LFE is so low it rattled my walls.

Does the DVD have the trailers in the middle of the movie? The movie looked dumb at first, but my friend couldn't stop laughing when he was telling me about the trailers that played in the middle of the movie.

Should I have a few drinks before watching this movie? lol

Last I heard the trailers were missing from either DVD that they split the movie into.

On the standard dvd, after you go to the menu and cue up Play, there is a trailer ( I think it was called Machete ) just before the movie starts.

And yes, some may need a stiff drink before ( and during ) watching this.

I saw it on the shelf the other day at Best Buy.
It caught my attention and was tempted to buy it.

Ill have to check it out.
