    Multiple copys of movies

Ok, they really need to stop releasing "special editions", "director cuts", "Superbit", "Collector's editions" ,etc. Just how many versions of Jaws or The Fifth Element do I really need?

    Apparently, more.

I was on Ebay looking at Superbit versions of The Fifth Element. It was on my "must have" list until I took inventory of my discs. I have the Ultimate edition that has the Superbit logo. Time to search the Net to see how it compares to the actual Superbit version ...

Maybe we really need to stop BUYING "special editions", "director cuts", "Superbit", "Collector's editions" ,etc. "They" wouldn't release them if there weren't a profitable market for them. To keep things under control, I buy a "Special Edition" of a title I already have only if it adds significant new features such as remastered anamorphic wide screen when the original release was matted and fraught with artifacts, or if I like the new cover art. :>)
