Kate Hudson was okay, but I just didn't buy the storyline. In fact, considering how hard Kate's character fought, I found the ending somewhat disappointing. I wouldn't say don't see it because it does have its moments, and others may find the ending just fine.
Basically Kate gives up her nursing job and becomes a caregiver to a man who had a stroke. His wife is kinda wierd and so is the house with all its locked doors- hence the need for a skeleton key. The man ( John Hurt) is trying to tell Kate something... well, I won't say anymore.
