Saints and Soldiers

It's been out for awhile, but I finally Bought this on impulse and watched it for the forst time. It's an independant film that is styled along the lines of Saving Private Ryan/Band of Brothers... right down to the menus.

I enjoyed it, and felt it fits in my war collection. Based on true events, it follows a group of American soldiers who became trapped behind enemy lines, and attempt to get a downed British pilot back to allied forces due to critical information he carries.

Worth atleast a rent for those who enjoyed SPR/BOB.

I'd had this one in my hands at Best Buy on occasion, but just hadn't pulled the trigger (pun intended). Guess I'm going to spend some birthday money on this one. Thanks Nick. :T

PQ and SQ are...?

PQ and SQ are right there with Band of Brothers, maybe 1/2 notch down, but pretty close. The picture has that same grey/mute coloring with a grainy effect like you see in BOB.

Definetly not as good, but certainly good enough for me to keep it.
