Has anyone seen this one yet? WSR gave it their highest rating for sound quality. They clearly stated that the Director's Cut was more than a notch above the previous version. No DTS though. Here are some excerpts:
"The Dolby® Digital 5.1-channel soundtrack is really incredible. The recording quality overall is excellent, and certainly on par with the best productions of today. There’s simply very little, if anything to criticize about this sonic presentation."
"The music score is fantastic in fidelity, spatial imaging, and low-end foundation."
"And then, of course, there’s an unbelievable amount of deep bass throughout this movie. Expect all of your loudspeakers to get a full blast of sub-50 Hz energy and the LFE channel to be activated often and aggressively."
"This is far and away one of the best-produced soundtracks to date." (Gary Reber)
