    Blade Trinity

    I can make this short.

Don't do it. Go read a good book.

I bought it just to finish up the series, and I guess it might be worth THAT effort - maybe - but there is very little else on which to recommend this DVD. The story is the weakest of the three Blade movies with an ending I can only describe as lame. The acting is the weakest of the three by far (Parker Posey should have her SAG card revoked).

Positives? It comes with a DTS ES 6.1 soundtrack and some good "dying vampire" effects. Jessica Biel is hot enough to melt a brick.

    :15: out of :5:

As always, this is just my 2 cents. . . .

I always liked to complete a set, but I think I am gonna make an exception here. Thanks for the heads up, Tex.

Shut the first one off half-way through. Didn't even bother with 2 or 3.

Bought it, but haven't had time to watch it yet.

It completes the set for me, and I like 1 & 2, so I know I won't have any regrets about spending $13 on it.

I have only seen the first on HBO or something like that. The discussions about the sound quality of the second movie have at least had me contemplating at least a rental. I think the thing for me to do it rent the first two and go from there.

            Loved the first one.
Tolerated the 2nd one. Great AV though...
Hated the 3rd one. Just awful. Can't say I cared for Jessica Biel... 1.5 out of 5 is being generous..

:agree: Blade 1 was cool. It was down hill at the rapid rate for the other 2. 3 hit the bottom at MACH 8

              I give it -1.5 stars.

Well, I guess I'm the only one that liked this film. I thought it had great action. Yes, the acting was weak, but it was very funny.

Seen the trilogy, Blade 3 would have been better if the ending wasn't so blah.

2 stars out of 5 for the action sequences.

                  Regards,

Finally got around to renting this. You know, Snipes is beginning to leave me cold on just about everything he has done recently. Is this guy in love with himself or what ? As for the flick, well I just didn't like it. Period.

I used the DTS 6.1 soundtrack. Now maybe I had a bad disc or something, but every once in awhile there was a dead spot in the sound. Almost like a layer change, but this happened several times throughout the movie.
LOW END ? Holy crappola. My subs were dancing and my pant legs were flapping... :E

                      Audio Dropouts perchance?

Likely that's what it was, Shane. But I've never experienced that on any dvds I've rented before. Usually dirt or scratches cause the picture to freeze or the laser to skip, but this sound thing was something else. The disc itself was pristine, and that's saying something for a rental.
