    The Count of Monte Cristo

    Finally rented this.

Very well done, and quite enjoyable. I thought the prison scenes were excellent. The only thing that bugs me is when they use fringlish. If the people are french, have them speak french and use subtitles. Mixing poorly pronounced Bonjours with modern dialects is an annoyance to me. Still a great job though.

    I plan on buying this.

    Well,...

    French Music from 30's/40's
    by Nick M
Anyone have any recommendations for French music from this era? I know nothing about it, just the occassional song I hear from WWII films and the odd B&W film I see. It's homey, romantic, nostalgic, and haunting at the same time. I'd like to pick up some CDs but need some info of where to start....
