    Shark Tale - New Reference

I was simply amazed by the picture quality. I thought Finding Nemo was about as good as animation PQ can get, but this DVD proved me wrong. Colors blend in seemless fashion and look smooth and rich. If you want to test your TV or projector, this may be the new reference (My previous reference was 5th Element Superbit). SQ was pretty good too although I had to raise the volume a little higher than I normally do since the overall volume seemed little lower than other movies. The movie itself was very entertaining as well. Dreamworks really did a superb job with this DVD. Check it out. :T

      Hi all...

I've designed two crossovers for my RS150 / Neo3 PDR combination.

One of them is a 4th order, the other one is an 8th order L-R (acoustical).

I think the 8th order is a better choice... because the electrical attenuation for the 4th order is a...

Hello Everyone. This is my first post, and I'm sad to say it is a tale of woe and misery.
I purchased the RSP 1068 and RMB 1095 at the end of December 2003 from a local dealer. This was my first foray into separates, having found my Yamaha V1400 lacking in power to drive the rear channels. For...

Do you listen at reference levels ?
      by George Bellefontaine
There are times when I will listen to music at reference, but I really have a hard time with movies because the highs and lows are all over the board. Explosions at reference are just a little too much for my ears, but Diana Krall and her piano at reference is really sweet to the ears. So for movies...

Every gemologist knows that the value of a fine diamond is determined by its "4C" rating. Those four categories (Cut, Color, Carat weight, and Clarity) determine gemstone quality and, indeed, only the rarest and most exquisite of diamonds excel in all four areas....
