Clint Eastwood is getting a lot of good airtime on his direction of this film, and Sean Penn's acting is getting similar hype. Haven't seen the film as yet, but I got a feeling this will be a collector's item as far as dvd goes.
On a side note, during an interview, Eastwood was asked whether he would ever do another Western. He indicated that UNFORGIVEN was probably his swansong as far as Westerns go.
