I think they could just show a test pattern and people would still download it if it said "Lord of the Rings". :>) For a rough cut trailer of an unfinished movie, it looks pretty darned good. This is one trailer that definitely does NOT give away the whole movie, given the remaining material in the book not yet presented in the first two movies of the series. (If it does "show it all", then the movie would be a big letdown, since there is so much more to be told than the trailer even hints at).
I can hardly wait for "Return of the King" to show up in the theaters -- and we don't even have our DVDs of "The Two Towers" yet! Of course, having read the book, I know how the story is supposed to end, but it will be interesting to see how it is handled in the movie. The last 60 pages of the book were actually kind of anti-climactic, tying together a lot of loose ends, explaining what happens to the main characters and wrapping up the narrative after the "big moment" which I will not describe here. But I doubt all of that will be in the movie. (Believe me, there is enough before that to fill three hours.)

by Chris DThis may be a good discussion. The topic is popular books that have been made into movies. By and large, my personal opinion is that movie renditions of good books fall far short for a few reasons. First, I think due to the media of print, books allow for a much more thorough immersion of the reader...-

by Chris DGot this one for Christmas today, and it was given to me in Blu-Ray format. This is currently ranked as one of the top three Blu-Ray movies for picture quality with Blackhawk Down and Corpse Bride.
Fairly straightforward here, to summarize, the picture quality really is the BEST I have...-

by FakerBakerI have had countless great movies spoiled over the years because a plot twist was revealed in the trailer ; Example: "Scent of a Woman".. Al Pacino's critical 'Hoo-Rah' (If you've seen the movie then I'll assume you know what I mean). As a result I now refuse to watch trailers, which can be...-
