Is this the same a what used to be Talk Soup? We used to watch it way way back. it was a lot of fun. I'll have to try and catch it and see how it is.

My wife watches it all the time. I only catch it here and there, but yes, I think it's hilarious. That's where I first remember Greg Kinnear and I think another host, too, from way back when.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

          The Soup Speaker
          by kvardas
Hi, I am intrigued by the "Soup" speaker - design available here: https://web.archive.org/web/20070823....com/Soup.html.

As a woodworker, I think it would be a fun project to tackle, but I am disappointed about the cost of the Accuton (Thiel &...

          Fail-Safe!

I tried to post this last night, but I couldn't get on the site...oh well it's a new day.
Last night I wanted some time alone, so I decided to watch something the rest of the family wouldn't care to see...Fail Safe. For them (my family) it would be to Dramatic, to slow, and to black and white....

          Cup-a-Soup
          by Rolex
I'm interested in the cup-a-soup design from Tony Gee at Humble Homemade Hifi.

Has anyone had a chance to build or listen to this speaker? I know that was a thread a couple years ago discussing the soup. Some like it, and others didn't.

This is a newer design. I'd...

          RSX1055-F/W upgrade Write Fail
          by adinfinitum
          Hello all,
          Been absent for some time.

I've been getting annoyed at my RSX-1055 defaulting back to 2CH and noticed that the latest F/W 2.3 should make the unit default to DPLII cinema. I downloaded all the instructions and started the update but it isn't working.
          Firstly,...

          Hi All,

Here is a design I have been working on with Tony Gees assistance via email. Its basically a Soup Sandwich (http://www.humblehomemadehifi.com/Soup_Sandwich.html) on top with dual 11" etons using a Hypex8.0 amp module. It could be scaled back to a single 11".
