    Saw The Ballad Of Cable Hogue again...

    Haven't seen the movie in years , but it was on Mojo , in hi-def , so I watched it again. I expected to have a different response almost 20 years after the last time I saw it. Damn movie still blurs my vision at the end. The soundtrack , Jason Robards , and Stella Stevens , and the rest of the cast , and Peckinpah's directing , combine to make one of my favorite films of all time. 91% on RottenTomatoes-not too shabby for a 38 year old western without J. Wayne or C. Eastwood.

      Yeah I bought this in a Sam Peckinpah dvd box set a couiple of years ago. Terrific film.
