    Top Gear

Well petrolheads, lat night Top Gear was back on our screens for another season and was most enjoyable. The lads up to their old tricks - spinning about on some of the best driving roads the world has to offer. Namly, the Alps in a Lambo, Porsche & Aston.

    Normality has returned.
    Vincent.

It is a great show, I don't get a chance to watch it often, but always entertaining. Not only are the car reviews interesting, but their little "adventures" are amusing.

What a great show last night. Second of this series. Anyone remember the boats they made out of a camper van, a pickup and an old triumph? Well, their challenge was to do them up a bit and sail them accross the Channel to France! Seriously, apart from Hamsters mega crash, these guys are gonna kill themselves one day!!! They also test drive the new Audi R8. Very cool and desirable!

So, this week on Topgear, was one of the funniest things I have seen on this show to date. My wife and I were in stitches at it.... Clarkson racing around London AND inside the BBC offices in a 1950's microcar.... Crying with laughter we were...

They also had a race with a Bugatti Veyron and the Eurofighter Typhoon - spectacular....

This weeks episode was absolutely helarious. Diana and I could not stop laughing through this segment with the mini car.

?? Is there a station in North America that actually carries this show? I've always dl the show. Have to go watch it, maybe later this week.

Before, the only time I've seen the show is on satellite TV, which I don't currently have yet.

Can you download it from the Top Gear website?

I went to the site, and can't find anywhere to download episodes. Just a few select clips.

We get it in Australia. It can be hit and miss, but when it hits the mark it is easily the best show of the week on telly.

I use a bittorrent client and download when they become available.

You can usually see some clips off Youtube as well.

For a long time, I was not concerned about the looks of the gear I bought, basically a lot of black boxes that did not look interesting. Hey, at least all the gear looked uniform. That was then and now I want a peice of audio gear that looks as good as it sounds.

                              So I thought it would...

This has been asked about here in Club Parasound ever since Halo gear was first introduced 10 years ago. Aaaaaand... you got it! Parasound continues to listen to their customers, here and elsewhere.

Hot off the press, formally released today. I've been keeping this under my hat for...

To go along with the oldest piece of gear in your HT, how about ancient gear you don't use anymore, or at least don't use on a regular basis?

In terms of actual age, my oldest stuff I have kicking around are an old pair of Cerwin Vega speakers I bought from a friend in 1987. These beasts...

Thought this would be a worthwhile thread. Although I am one of many that prefer physical media, lately I've been trying to take my mobile music to the next level. I use a 6G 160GB iPod Classic, mostly for while working out, riding on a plane, etc. I'll also plug it into my car, and at times also...
