    Pursuit of Happiness

Beautiful movie. The movie is about a intelligent, but humble man who is struggling to make ends meat to provide for his wife and son. It gets to the point where money gets in the way of love. It is a very quiet movie. Doesn't drag, but it is one of those british-type-quiet movies.

A warning to single fathers or real head of the house fathers. Some parts are deep. My son is almost 2 now, and this movie showed just how attached I am to him. First time in my life I've gotten emotional over a movie to the point where I almost did cry at the theaters. Definitely got my eyes watery.... so if you go with a woman, you have a son (or daughter) that you provide for, and don't want to be seen like THAT at the movie theathers... don't go. lol This is perhaps my favorite drama movie ever.

    Gladiator...epic, or just good movie?
    by KennyG
So where do you stand on this movie?
It takes await to realize epic status, one quality of an epic is it's ability to entertain, and pull you in veiwing after veiwing. Can this movie do that? After my second veiwing (last night) I know I'll be going back.
An epic needs every actor to believe...

    Flags Of Our Fathers

Clint Eastwood is spinning his magic again, this time with the backdrop being WW2. Now if you want to see 132 minutes of battle scenes, then this film is not for you. Oh, there's plenty of battle scenes and some are extremely graphic. But what the film is really about is people--mostly young men in...

    My Movie Collection Has Shrunk
    by George Bellefontaine
The latter part of last year my movie collection was pushing 2000 titles with half of them being VHS tapes. Some of these tapes were bought in the early eighties just after vcrs came out, and others were dubbed copies of rental tapes. There really was a lot of junk in there as well as close to a hundred...

Sean Levert, 39, son of O'Jays lead singer Eddie Levert and brother of Gerald who died a couple years ago at age 40 has also passed away. He was in jail serving a sentence for unpaid child support. To lose two young sons like that in the space of two years, I cant begin to imagine what Eddie is going...

    THE MAJESTIC

I am not a big Jim Carrey fan, though he always made me laugh with his skits on IN LIVING COLOR, but when he tackles drama, he is a much better actor than you'd expect.

In The Majestic, Carrey plays a Hollywood screenplay writer who finds himself on a blacklist...
