Bingo! The airlines chopped out the whole airport scene, as they (understandably) didn't want their customers listening to information about all these airlines crashes. So suddenly Ray and Charlie are driving across the country for no reason... didn't make sense.

Where did the police order the pizza from for everyone in the bank?

Careful, haven't watched that movie yet and it's pretty current. Not that pizzaria names are spoilers, but you know.

In Arthur with Dudley Moore, what did he have 50 pairs of hanging in his closet?

Aw man... And I knew the answer for Arthur without Dudly Moore...

I can't remember, it's been so long since I saw the movie, but good trivia question!

Here's an interesting question I learnt a couple of year's ago.

In the film 'Conan the Barbarian' (directed by John Milius - the importance of which will be apparent shortly) the ending has Conan (big Arnie) in a final scene that was deliberately, remarkably similar to another film co-written by John Milius. What is this second film?

Hint: I'm talking of the decapitation scene - where Arnie throws the head. The similarity always bugged me until I found out the link.

Tony, you are so right! I'd never put the two together until you posted that. I had to "IMDb it" to verify that Milius co-wrote that film so I can't post the answer. Good one. :T

I'm stumped on the Arthur question.

Okay, I don't know the answer to this question, but it seems like good trivia. perhaps a Bond fan would know?

In all of the Bond movies put together, how many total "double-oh" agents have appeared? How many have been mentioned?

I can personally think of 3 agents that have appeared on screen, and one more that has been talked about, but there's probably several more.

Hell, weren't there like 5 killed in 'The Living Daylights' alone??

I'll go with 9 as my answer though.

                                      Hello all,

Angel Heart, one of my favorite moves of all time! Freaky!

The killer: Robert De Niro... not gonna name the character he plays, because that might ruin it for people who haven't seen it and must!!!

Ok here's an easy one keeping De Niro in mind...

What's the name of the movie in which DeNiro's charcter's life is governed by the "One Shot" maxim, up until the last scenes of the film, where he tries convincing a close friend that he was wrong?

                                        G' luck!

Yup! That was easy... Interesting... I was just looking up the movie on the net, and turns out there is a fan site for the movie, called One Shot! What a cool name for a Deer Hunter website.

Anyways, here another De Niro one...

                                                  Answer to my earlier question,

John Milius was allegedly so impressed by the end scene of Apocalypse Now that he mimicked it with his later Conan the Barbarian

One More John Milius question - just because he has such interesting links,

What is the name of another John Milius directed film, that was later used by a US Military Commander and John Milius fan as the operation name for the capture of Saddam Hussein?

                                                          Ok. Some Francis Ford Coppola...

                                                          ...

In "The Conversation", Harry Caul (Gene Hackman), is a surveillance expert hired by "The Director", played by Robert Duvall to spy on 2 seemingly random people walking through the park. An impossible job, surely.. .which is why the best has been hired to do this.

Anyway, which young (at that time, not so famous) actor plays the bit part of "The Director's" assistant?

Easy if you've seen the movie. If not, it's a must watch.

We haven't visited this thread for a while, so I thought I'd fire it up again.

Which series of movies has the greatest number of installments?

Well, if we're talking about actual movies, and not TV shows put on DVD or something like that, I'd have to go with James Bond. 26 movies now, I think?
