Well no surprise about Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon on Walk The Line. Other winners were not all that much a surprise, either. Wonder how close these wins will come to the Oscars ?

So when we talk about the Oscars, if we talk about the entertainment value of the telecast itself, it belongs in the TV section, but if we talk about the recognition it gives MOVIES -- it belongs in the TV section because we saw it on television? I read a book about movies once... I guess it belongs over at the Literacy Project site. :>)
