Two of my all time favorites happen to be Hitchcock films: Vertigo and North By Northwest.

Just off the top, here are a few others I like :

    The Third Man
    Strangers On A Train
    A Simple Plan
    Body Double
    Body Heat
    Double Indembity
    One False Move
    Blood Simple
    Basic Instinct
I'm sure I could come up with others after a little though.

National Treasure wasn't all the suspenseful I thought.

Of recent memory I come up with:

        1. Fatal Attraction
        2. The Game - utterly fantastic
        3. Along Comes a Spider - Morgan Freeman movie with several twists.
        4. The Recruit - Not a great movie but entertaining to me for the CIA aspects.

Yeah! I agree, it was more like Indiana Jones, but the clues and how they unearthed them kept you glued.

Unfortunately, some of the best suspense films ever made were of the black and white noir category made in the late forties and early fifties in the old 1:33 aspect ratio: think Asphalt Jungle, The Postman Always Rings Twice, The Killers, Out Of The Past, to name a few. Many people today are unaware of these old classics.

I saw "Along Came a spider" yesterday, the suspense was gr8, but unfortunately some of the older ones as George mentioned are not available with my rental guy......will see the others gradually.

How about "Unbreakable"? One of my favorites but I'm not sure it fits in the suspense thriller catagory.

I second Unbreakable. Anything by M. Night Shamalan is great. In my opinion he is one of the best directors out there next to speilberg.

                            Others of mention to me:
                            Fear
                            The Game
                            Fight Club

Just finished watching this show. We found it very gripping and action packed considering we were not really expecting it to be.

Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn provide excellent character performances.

The show used the most common themes and props of typical...

I recently received some Slappa Hard Body CD/DVD cases. I'd like to give my take on these.

Excellent quality materials in these. It lookes to be about 3-4 different materials involved on the exterior with a seude like primary exterior materials, and an even smoother softer brown stripe...
