Dust To Glory

For any of you off-road racing fans, here comes what looks to be a pretty good film: Dust To Glory

It's a feature-length documentary about the most famous - or infamous - off-road race of them all, the Baja 1000. The movie is made by the same team that created Step Into Liquid, so the PQ/SQ ought to be great. It goes out in limited release next weekend - April 1st, and in wide release April 8th.

I love watching the Dakar Rally(spelling?) on TV. Something about the background music and the desert sand is fascinating.

Growing up as a kid during the summer I used to ride my bike daily where the big boy's rode their motorcycles. Had a regular routine using the garden hose to wash out all my clothes at the end of the day from all the mud.

Yeah, I started out on motorcycles with a Kawasaki 175 dirt bike in 1978. Ahhhh, the memories. :T

Hehe, actually I did. At about 10 years old, as a matter of fact. The dirt bike(s) started at 19.
