    New Bryston Amp Released

    Just received an e-mail from Bryston that their 2B SST amp is ready for sale. 100 watts/channel @ 8 ohms. MSRP in US is $1,695. The 17" wide version is 4" high and 13" deep.

    Looks like an awesome amp for an audiophile with less power needs, surround back speakers, or multi-zone application.

          Just received an e-mail from James Tanner of Bryston. They have 120 units of this new amp on backorder already! What a way to get out of the blocks.

              Can someone lend an opinion on this amp? I was leaning toward a Rotel 1080, but have an opportunity to pick up a Bryston for a real bargain.

              I've heard various opinions about the difference between Bryston and Rotel, but I've never heard this amp. It was released before I knew anything...

              I got my new Bryston 4B-sst today that is one heavy amp.
              i still need to get all my cables & a pre amp i don't think i
              will be happy with the two channel with the 1066 pre.
              what do recommend for cables & power cord. i have a
              new set of 804's. thanks for your help...
