The Mission Possible DIY is in the process of expanding to provide better organization of the topics. Thanks goes to JonMarsh for proposing the sub-forums and helping to move the topics. If you have any questions let us know.
Azeke, please post a reply to that effect in the Sticky thread, then start a real Mirage thread. that's how it works. Others may chime in with dialogue, even more threads on that subject. Make sense?
What we could wind up with is several threads for several items, and then depending upon how popular they become, it can spin off to a new forum.
thanks, I know it's a bit confusing, but it will make sense once it starts I think.
I have been a Mirage fan since I auditioned the Omnisat's back in October of 2002. I now have the Omni series 250's for my fronts and 5 Omnisat's for my center and 4 surround channels.
The Mirage Omni speakers seem so warm and open, for home theater (my particular passion) they present such a hugh soundstage that you would swear your room is a lot bigger!
There are a lot of good speakers out there but I'm sold on the Mirage Omni build, sound and looks!
Well, color me Mirage too. I have a pair of the FRx-1 bookshelfs that I used at the office for a while. Now they see duty wherever I need a good-sounding small speaker. At the moment I'm playing with them as the surrounds in the theater room along with my normal di-poles (Boston Acoustics VRS-Pros) to see which timbre-match better with my Aerial Acoustics mains - until I can afford the matching surrounds, anyway.
Well, count me in as another Mirage owner. I own the OM10 driven by a Rotel RC1070/RB1080 combo. They have never sounded better than they do now with my current set up. Even when listened to in the store connected to similar equipment, I believe my gear sounds much better. Huge soundstage, easy to listen, and they can rock when they need to!
