Wilson Watt Puppy 8

So, anyone getting ready to go listen to the Wilson Watt Puppy 8s when the dealers start getting them in for demo models?

A few demos of the 7s had me considering a trade in of my B&W 802Ds, but I was cautioned to wait since the 8s were bound to be released soon.

Man oh man.... at Glenn Poor Chicago, they are slashing the WWP7 demos to $12K, and I'm sure you can haggle the last $1K down. Also, the Sophia-1 are also marked down to around $9K at the same store.... making room for the Sophia-2.

802D vs WWP7.... that is a toughie. I would probably give the nod to....

Gotta admit, both speakers are unusual in appearance though. May be a bit tough to swallow for some wives.

WAF isn't an issue here. I have my own room downstairs which I can place anything I want into, except dead bodies, those we keep in the bedroom closet. Mwhahahahaha, mwhahahaha, mwhahahaha. :twisted:

I'm going to be waiting around a year before I uprgade, but my two major possibilities are the Watt Puppy 8s and Sonus Faber Amati Anniversarios, since they have relatively similar footprints which wouldn't effect most of the acoustical work I'm having done to my room much. So I've got quite some time to demo them before making a decision, if I even decide to change speakers at all.

Not me... dealer says it wont be until August until he gets his pair. He is selling his WWP7 demo for $12,500 though. ;x(

Negative. We sold our last paid or 7s and decided not to get 8s for our almost completed demo room. We went with MAXX 2s instead! Bwahahaha.....
