    New Pre-Amp from Bryston

    Bryston announced today the soon to be released update of their acclaimed pre-amp, the BP25. The new version is dubbed the BP26. Further details to follow.

    P.S. It will be interesting to see what they improved on as the BP25 is one heck of a pre-amp as it is!

      What kind of preamps have you used with the 800 series B&W's?

      I haved N801's and Bryston 7B St's. I am using a tueb preamp and can now hear some hiss from the tube preamp with the Brystons.

      I want to go SS. Considering Bryston BP25 but have heard mixed reviews....

      Here are the contenders:
      Some of these I could not hear locally, and none in a a/b comparision. I would like to at least lower the number of preamps I am looking at.

      I am thinking of purchasing a Bryston BP25 pre-amp. Has anyone actually heard it in combination with a 3BST or 4BST? I am thinking of the silver finish, I would also be sending in my 4BST for a " facelift" . My cost for all this would be @ $1950.00 for the pre, and $150.00 for faceplate...
