    Bi-amping...again

I'm going to do some experimenting bi-amping my B&W HTM-2 center speaker. Instead of hooking up a splitter from a single output of my processor, can anyone see a problem with plugging separate cables from the center 1 and center 2 outputs of my RSP-1066 into different amp channels, which would then feed into separate HF and mid/LF speaker terminal connections? I guess what I really am asking is whether the signal outputed from the center 1 and center 2 outputs of the RSP-1066 is exactly the same. Anyone tried this?

Yes, the signal is the same. It will sound very good. Just make sure that the amplification is the same for the highs and lows, preferably from the same amplifier too.

Thanks for the advice Andrew & GosonFletchy. Yes, I am using the same amp to drive HF & LF signals...I'll give it a try & report back the results.

          hi Guys

I purchased the Pioneer 989 avis universal player today and have some questions on connecting it to my rotel rsp1066/rmb1075 system

Firstly, I know I need to get 6 Analog cables for my Multichannel output on the Pioneer 989 to the Multichannel inputs of the RSP....

          6.1/7.1 setup and Preamp Outputs
          by stinems
I'm looking at pulling the trigger on an H&K receiver and using it as a preamp/proc, feeding the preamp outputs to a separate multichannel amp. The main reason for this is that I want to be able to comfortably drive a 4 ohm load, which is lower than most mid-fi receiver's published capabilities....

OK, I'm here looking for any guidance, suggestions, comments, hints, or anything else any of you think is necessary.

I'm trying to convince my father to allow me to build a home theater for the family's Christmas present this year. Here's what I've come up with so far:

          RSP1066 Vs RSP1068
          by wywong
          Hi,
I have an option of buying an RSP1066 or an RSP1068, the different in price is about $400. Can someone give me an opinion on whether it is worth the extra of $400 to get the RSP1068. I am currently using a Denon 3803 as a pre/processor and the RMB1075. Will this upgrade to the Rotel RSP1066...

Splitting a WMTW Center Channel Speaker
          by MonkeyMike
I think that the answer is no, but I figure I would ask anyway.

I have all the parts to build a Dayton RS WMTW Center, but the entertainment center that it is supposed to go in does not have a space large enough for it to fit. No, this isn't bad measuring... it's procrastination.. I've...
