"Dolby D & PL II" message

Any clue how this works ??? on RSP1068

I get the following processing signals :-

DOLBY DIGITAL

DOLBY PL II

and

Dolby D & PL II - or something resembling this message .... what is this processing and how does it differ to 1 & 2 above.

"Dolby Digital" message means that it's getting a 5.1 dolby digital signal.
"Dolby PLII Cinema" (or Music) appears when it receives a normal stereo signal.
"Dolby Digital + PLII C" appears when it receives a Dolby Digital 2.0 signal and it applies PLII to create 5.1 channels.
