    RSP-1068 on order

Today I put in my order for a RSP-1068(in silver).
My Rotel dealer is taking my RSP-1066 in on trade and the 1068 should be here in about 2 weeks. :T

So far it's definately worth the $500 I spent for the upgrade from my RSP-1066.
HDCD's lock on instantly unlike my 1066.More detail from all sources and no harshness was induced even with the increase in detail.SACD's sound great not slightly flat sounding as they did on the 1066.

The onscreen menu through the component video out is a big plus.

            The 1068 does everything I wished my 1066 could have.Two thumbs up. :T :T

How'd you do it for $500?

                Congrats.

Edit: Nevermind. I don't read well at night.

I know the "right" people. Actually I do know the owner of Premier Audio here in Edmonton and I send them quite a few customers so they treat me very good when trade up time comes.Plus they already had a buyer for my 1066. :T

I wonder if I could swing something like that at a local dealer. Then at least I'd get a new, current model, with full waranty...not to mention, people keep saying the sonics are closer to the 1098...

I shall inquire and see what they say. Great to hear that you were able to do it only for $500 (!!!).

Hey Drew ,Go talk to Marty(the owner) at Bracks in Toronto.Tell him Claude sent you and see what kind of deal he can work out for you. I'll be in Toronto from July1-6(my wife is competing in the Canadian Figure and Fitness Championships on Saturday). So I want to go check out the 2 Bracks while I'm there.

                        RSP1066 Vs RSP1068
                        by wywong
                        Hi,
I have an option of buying an RSP1066 or an RSP1068, the different in price is about $400. Can someone give me an opinion on whether it is worth the extra of $400 to get the RSP1068. I am currently using a Denon 3803 as a pre/processor and the RMB1075. Will this upgrade to the Rotel RSP1066...

                        Hi Folks,

Seems like a pretty big following here for Rotel.

If you've always wanted to control your equipment from your computer/graphic user interface, touchscreen or tablet pc, but thought it was cost prohibitive, think again.

Would the RSP1068 also make a good 2 channel preamp?
                        by BKSinAZ
I am a 50% music and 50% movie person with my system and in need of a prepro. For 2 channel music, how is the RSP1068? Not really into buying two preamps.

How does the RSP1068 compare with the RSP1056 for 2 Channel music?
