Rotel RA-01 and 4 Ohm speakers.

    Rotel RA-01 and 4 Ohm speakers.

    I’m thinking to build a small system for stereo listening only. The set-up will be based on Rotel RA-01 amplifier and Rotel RC-02 CD player. My question is whether or not RA-01 is a good amplifier to drive 4 Ohm load speakers, like Dynaudio Audio 52?

      Sure it will,

      The 4 ohms rating on your Dynaudio is only an average rating. It will vary from 2 to 50 Ohms on variour frequecies.

      The Rotel has a very good power supply and will drive the Dynadio with ease. Actually it will develop more power on lower impedance.
