    Rotel-1095

Hello everyone, I was reading a review on the 1095 that indicated the internal circuitry is not balanced. I'm wondering how this can be true if it has balanced inputs? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

I think they are referred to as sort of balanced line inputs.

Thanks for the reply Jeff. I think you are right in saying they are sort of balanced. If in fact they are not true balanced inputs, are they better than the unbalanced inputs? Maybe there is no difference between the two??

        oscar,
Before I bought my 1095 I read everything I could find. Here's a good 1095 article that explains how it's "quasi balanced".

Very good information. I must say this is the first I've heard of "quasi balanced". Sounds like it might work. Thanks for the article!

Halo Ax1 Balanced Inputs Level Question
            by wildfire99
This may be an Anthem issue or a Parasound one, but I'm thoroughly confused about it. Here's the question:

I recently switched my interconnects for my system (Anthem AVM30, Halo A21 and A51 amps, plus Behringer BFD for the sub) from RCA to XLR. I dutifully switched the amps to 'Balanced'...

Why aren't there balanced connections on my 1098?
            by EAmin
Sorry if these question were asked before.

I own the 1095 and the 1090 that have balanced XLR inputs. It's strange that the 1098 doesn't have balanced connectors especially if the 1095 (an HT amp) has 'em. I noticed that the RC-1090 is the only preamp that has 'em.

The gear: SSP-600, Cambridge Audio 840C player. Can I add a sub to the balanced sub output of the ssp-600 while using the Cambridge audio cd player with the balanced audio inputs of the ssp-600? Thanks

            Balanced Inputs? Is it Needed?
            by Rolyasm
I see a lot of amps/receivers that don't have balanced inputs. I realize that I don't necessarily need this to have a good system, but if I was choosing 2 similar amps, one with and the other without the inputs, should I lean more towards the one amp just because of the balanced inputs, all other specs...

            Questions about RSP-1098
            by viji
            Hello All:

I got a nice 6-page color booklet about the Rotel RSP-1098 from the dealer and after leafing through it, I have a few questions about the 1098.

Bass Management for Multi-Channel Inputs: I was wondering if the RSP-1098 offers something similar to the Anthem AVM...
