    A question of temporary cables.

I have a set of Silver and Copper cats on order, but my 1095 and 1066 are here now. Other than the quality of sound issue. Will it be ok to use the cables that came with the 1066 (a couple of steps above Radio Shack  ) until I get my Cats?

I only ask because the 1095 manual says "connect the amp using your high quality cables"

The easiest way to find something lost around the house, is to buy a replacement.

As long as people will accept crap, it will be financially profitable to dispense it.

Will do. I was bummed when I found out that the Cats wouldn't be here in time for the prepro and amp install. But then I thought, this will actually be cool. I'll have a few days with the "stock" cables, and then go to my Cats. It'll be a perfect comparo...

Rock Dog, just FYI, your CATs are cooking now! well, most, your custom Coppercats are still on the bench, but will be finished today as well and join their brothers and sisters on the cooker until Monday. :B

Oh, and you will hear a difference. Now, about those speaker cables, and digital cables.

Differences between RCA Video and Audio Cables?
              by riceaterslc
I need to purchase RCA type cables for a SACD player. I was looking for cables for the easiest setup. I can get two 3-wire component video cables or three standard audio cables. what will the sound quality difference be between the two? these are the two sets of cables I am currently looking at....

Hey Doug I just wanted to thank you again for the incredible work you do on my new silver cats and the digital coax cable they arrived A-Ok this morning which was perfect timing since I took the day off to do some projects. I'm in the middle or retooling my rack, building new stands for the mains and...

              These Cats are High
              by Bob
No I'm not talking about cat cables. I was at my favorite used record store in Santa Monica, CA and found a album by the Ink Spots from 1939 that was in pristine condition. When I was a kid this was one of my dads favorites, naturally I thought they were totally lame. Just for yucks I bought it ($1.89,...

              temporary sound damping in den
              by sadams
No place to put my stereo in my new house except the den which is lousy for sound: big open room with hardwood floors and a bunch of bouncy sheet rock. I have a Hafler 280 amp and great speakers that I built years ago. Starving for good clean bass. So I wondered, how could I temporarily and periodically...

              Hi all
