    ROTEL POWER AMPS

    hi guys could do with some rotel help
    i currently have B&W cdm1nts as mains fronts,lcr60 centre, 600s3 rears, running through denon 3802 av amp.
    i would like to improve the 3802 sterio performance (quite happy with 3802 av duties)
    am considering using a rotel rb 1070 (2 channel power amp ) driving fronts , or possibly rb 1075, (5 channel)

    i wish to use 3802 preouts to (rotel amps) but am a bit concerned rotel and cdms will be a bit bright sounding, any suggestions on what to add, (power+preamp,etc)
    my dealer can (source rotel products for me) but if i purchase and not happy are going to be stuck with product, yours views please

      Rotel amps are not bright but neutral sounding...maybe even leaning towards the warm side so I wouldn't worry about their being a brightness issue

          have denon 3802 rotel991 and 985 power amps, not really getting the improvement i was looking for rotel powers vs 3802 with 2 channel sterio with b&w cdm1nts, rather than sell denon at a loss and purchase say 1066 processer, all more money,

          i was wondering if trying second hand...

          Hi all. Brand new to the board and was excited to see a Rotel section.

          I have recently upgraded most of Paradigm speaker set-up to the Reference line with Studio 60s and Studio CC. Still running the Paradigm PDR-12 and Atoms in the rear. All powered w/ Marantz SR 7200.

          I think I get a lot of bang for the buck from my two rotel amps. I also bought a parasound a few years ago when I think they made better amps. I'm looking for a good 2 or 3 channel amp preferably for around $2k with some slack. I posted in the general section (I'll remove it if this is an issue)...

          It seems there are more B&W's hooked up to Rotels than
          other speaker brands or at least a favorite.

          I would be interested to know how
          Rotel amps ; i.e. RB-1080, RMB-1075, and RB-1070 handle
          the load of either Dynaudios floorstanding...
