    Connecting one subwoofer to Sub1 + Sub2 ?

    Hi all,

I've just got me a Rotel RSX-1560 and now I'm wondering how to connect the subwoofer.
The active subwoofer (Phonar AS1000) has two RCA input connections (L+R) and the RSX1560 has two sub-outputs (sub1+sub2).

Could I connect Sub1 to the left channel on the subwoofer and Sub2 to the right channel?
    Or should I get a Y-cable and connect Sub1 to both L+R?

    Thanks!
    Pepijn.

I would probably just use the Y cable, or even just use a single cable in the 'L' connector on the sub.

Best bet is one connection for one sub. It’s a summed mono signal regardless if going to one sub in almost all cases.

I have a 1067 and I can't seem to get decent LFE output through my sub. I have set sub to max and am using the sub1 pre-out of the 1067. My sub is a REL strata III and I get great output throught the line-level connection for 2 channel music. Should I use an interconnect which takes the sub1 and sub2...
