    Rotel amp selection.

    Hi,

    I'm currently running 2 B&W CDM1-SE on a Yamaha RX-V390RDS (60W).
    Active subwoofer B&W ASW300.
I want to switch the Yamaha with a secondhand Rotel pre/end amplifier.
I play a lot of Jazz en soft rock at low to intermediate volumes.
To get the most out of the speakers would I need a 70 or a 120 Watts setup ?

    ThX in advance!

    i would suggest a used 1090.
even at low volume, transients, clarity, ambiance & a slew of other characteristics are effected by the amp.

if a new amp is a requirement, then i suggest one of the offerings from Odyssey

    jmho, ymmv
