    DM303/ASW300 for Rotel RA-972 & RCD-991 ??

(originally posted in the B&W speakers club, but since no interest in my post...)

    I currently have a Rotel RA-972 integrated amp and a RCD-991 CD player…

I need speakers for that little combo to listen some music in dinning/living room (separate HT is in the basement)…

    I was thinking at a B&W DM303/ASW300 sub-sat combo for that set up…

    What do you think ?

This won’t be to be played at high levels…simply dinner/smoot moods music…mostly jazz, blues, soul…

Also, where could I find the canadian retail price for B&W speakers ??

    Also, is the DM303 wall-mountable?

As of sub for a stereo set-up, we connect it in the pre-out of the integrated amp, and select the corssover freq on the sub ?

That would be a nice combo for easly/low-level listening. Yes, connect sub via pre-outs. I suggest a quality sub cable from Lex - (www.catcables.com). Not sure of the bass roll-off of the DM303; to guess crossover setup on sub @ 60 Hz and work/experiment from there.

I would suggest the Acoustic Energy Aegis EVO One. I'm not sure whether you can find them in the US/Canada these days, but they are wonderful speakers for their MSRP of USD 299. You wouldn't believe how much bass those little 5 1/4" drivers can generate. In my opinion, it is better than the DM601S3, let alone the DM303.
