As mentioned in another thread I have a RSX-1065 with old FW 1.3. I would like to upgrade the eeprom so I can upgrade fw to 2.xx. Though I don´t want to pay like 300 usd to have this done by a dealer. It seems like a pretty easy task to change eeprom myself. Unless there is another parts that also needs to replaced of course. For me it seems that everything needs to be done is lift up the 32 pin eeprom placed on PCB 1 and replace with a newer one. But first of all I need get my hands on a new eeprom. Does anyone know were to buy one or what I shall look for?
