Not exactly. Zone 2 outputs will not output digital-only connected sources. If you have digital sources that you want to hear in Zone 2, you will need to make an additional analog input connection from each of them.

      srb,

after hooking up the amp & speakers, sources from CD or MP3 will play if hooked up via analog?

        Yes.

Zone 2 has independent Input Selection and Volume. In the On-Screen Display Menu > Zone2 Setup, the outputs should be set to Variable (default), and the Volume parameters can also be set (Turn On Volume and Max Volume).

The powering on and off (standby) of Zone 2 is also independent, so if the Main Zone is put in standby by either the front panel On/Standby button or the remote, this will not affect Zone 2 which would remain On.

That about covers Zone 2 configuration, but the configuration and operation is all well described in the RSP-1068 Owner's Manual. If you access the manual online, you can use the Adobe Reader's Find function to quickly find any references to "Zone". http://www.rotel.com/content/manuals...ng_fre_spa.pdf

2 Component outputs from 1068? And Zone 2 help!!!
          by Stevebez
A few questions about adding a second display in the bedroom.

1 How long can I run component cables from the RSP-1068 output? (around 15metres is the max length I would need.)

2 Is it feasible to spit this component output somehow to get prog scan to this second display?...

          Integra DTR 40.1 - Zone 2
          by chuck21401
I recently purchased an Integra DTR 40.1 receiver to replace my older Onkyo receiver. Before the Integra I had a TX-DS 939 and before that a TX-DS 747. The Integra is a great leap forward and sounds great.

I am using the Integra in a home theater set up and have two outdoor speakers...

          by srinathalapati
          Folks,

I own a RSX-1055 and I am planning to buy an amplifier (Audio Source AMP100) to power outdoor speakers. I was reading the RSX-1055 manual about zone 2 operation and it confused me a bit. I am looking for some clarification from the experts here. On page 25 in the manual it says:...

          DTC-9.4 zone 2 question
          by Gareth
          Hello everyone,
I'm using the zone 2 feature on the 9.4 where i'm not using the fixed volume outs on the unit. Instead I activated and am using the Zone2 outputs which are the 6th and 7th speaker in a 7.1 configuration. Integra allows you to either use the outputs as speaker 6 and 7, or to...

Help: Output for a second zone
          by stugrief
My apologies in advance for a long question:

I have a C1/A21/A51 set up for HT in my family room. I also have an integrated "house" amp that drives another 5 pairs of speakers around the house. I currently have the zone output of the C1 connected to the house amp's Aux input....
