    safe to rackmount RA1312 & RT1024

    Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I just recently aquired a Rotel RA1312 and an RT1024 in pristine condition.
I am looking to rackmount these in a Samson SRK12 audio rack and was wondering if these units can be safely rackmounted. They are extremely heavy.
    Appreciate any helpful advice.

Well they came with rack mount faceplates, so you should be able to rack mount them no problem.

Don't let the weight scare you. It's crazy the way the physics work out for essentially two bolts to hold and enormous amount of weight.

Thanks Kevin, I was concerned about the front face plate of the rotels possibly bending under the weight.

        RMB-1075 Rackmount Question
        by calypsocowboy
I'm about ready to purchase a 1075 for my B&W system. I plan on purchasing a custom Middle Atlantic rackshelf for the amp. I know the rackshelf if 5U tall and from the dimensions I'll have about an inch above the rack and I'm sure that isn't enough space for heat. So I plan on addint a 1U vent...

Halos in a 19" EIA rack

        Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to get my Halos and some other equipment mounted in 19" racks and getting the most aesthetically pleasing result.

The big question is whether I should go with the custom trim panels (same color as the Halo rack mount hardware) that...

        Rack em' up boys

Nope, not pool. Thinking new racks here. I got my sights set pretty high, well both price wise and "height" wise. Currently, I am using a Pioneer Elite rack that originally matched my PRO-119 perfectly. Now that I went FP, well, that match thing is no longer a consideration. I do have a real...
