    AppleTV audio setting w/RSX1067

    I just got the new Apple TV to try out with my RSX-1067. I have it hooked up through the optical input.

    What is the best audio setting I should set for the default on my rotel? Right now it's set to 2CH PCM, but not sure if there is a better choice. Mostly, I would just listen to music and sometimes a movie.

    Also, if default is set to 2 channel and then you watch movie through Apple TV does it automatically receive and play the 5.1 soundtrack or would you need to manually select it.

      I need to ask what may be a dumb question about the 1066’s Default Setup. I’ve been adjusting the rear channel settings via the remote to approx. +7dB. I find this (although it may be a bit exaggerated) improves the surround experience when listening to basic cable.
