Rsp 1098 / rmb 1075

Hi guys

im back again after a long time

have some strange problems with my set

rsp 1098 / rmb 1075 / rb 1070 (2x) with the b&w cdm 7nts cdmcnt and 4 times the cdm snt

when i watch movies i hear a strange noise bij talking the s or t

dont know what it is but i saw that the rsp 1098 is not up to date with the software

where can i find v3.23 and how do i install this ?

Go here http://www.bwgroup-support.com/software.html .Choose the Rotel Icon and a drop down menu will appear.Choose 1098 and it will bring up a list of updates.I would first download and read the instalation pdf.Hope this helps.

your 1098 didn't come with the cable? Mine did.

I also have to same setup 1098 + 1075 driving a pair of Nautilus 803 and HTM2 center

I can't remember. Bought it from someone (second hand)

Can I use this one with a utp cable ?

Yes that should do just fine.

Check with Rotel's tech support - techsupport@bwgroupusa.com - on the pin out. That adapter may or may not work out of the box. You may have to redo the pins in the adapter or in the cable.

with the db9 to rj45 terminal and utp cable I can't get a connection.
When I use a cisco console cable I get a connection but when I press the 1 I don't get a 1.
When I use another rs232 cable to rj45 I got the same result :-(

Found another cable (rs232 to rj45) and this one works!
Have now version V3.23 installed :-)

Is the strange noise gone now? Did the noise occur all of a sudden or did you recognize it by chance?
