Looking for some advice. I have just purchased a 1570 and when I play a cd the subs don't turn on or work at all. Everything works perfectly when I play a DVD in DTS, DD or and surround sound format but nothing when I play a CD could anyone please help. Thanks in advance.

You have to set the sub setting from yes to max when palying stereo cd's -

I can't believe it but I must have unplugged the second subwoofer from the power. Wow am I embarrased. Thanks again for the previous fix.Comment

Hello - new member here. I just plugged in my new SVS PB12 NSD/2 sub using the low level input from my RSP-1068 and the sub will not play. The only way it will play is if I turn the gain knob on the sub to full max, and add +10db to the sub on the test tone menu, and add another +10db in the seperate... -

A while back I described an issue I was having with my SBT and Rotel 1570.
I have a SBT connected via digital toslink directly to the Rotel.
There is no analog connection made.
