    RB-1080 Sensys 2

    i there guys

i have a pair of Sensys 2 speakers, the model below the DC's. it dosent have concentric tweeters. i also have an RB-1080. there are times where im blown away buy the sound of this setup, and there are times where i think i could use a different set of speakers. ive been searching the net for some sort of info on the sensys 2 speakers for about 5 years now and havent found much. if anyone has this same set up, i would love to hear their thoughts. From my own listening, the speakers sound best with the better recorded cds. there is a relationshipt between the level of production and the speakers. any thoughts at all would be appreciated.

        by Belgarath99
        Hi

I have heard that this is the best forum to talk Rotel.

I am thinking of buying an used Rotel RB991 to add to my HT setup. I will use the pre-out of my Denon AVR 3805 to connect to the power amp to drive my Dynaudio Audience 82 speakers.

        I have heard comments...

        RB1080 new addition
        by Al K
Recently purchased an RB1080 for my front speakers. Using an RSX1055 for the center and rear channels. Initially, the RB1080 caused a loud hum through my speakers. The dealer suggested using a 3 to 2 prong adapter with the AC cord. This eliminated the hum totally. Upgrading to the RB1080 was well...

        RB1080...how much better?
        by resperc
I just bought a 1068/1075 combo and I am loving it. It's a huge upgrade over the Onkyo reciever I was using. Home theater and music (stereo) both sound great. I was considering adding the RB1080 for my front speakers. I have decent speakers (Polk Audio-RT55s, CS400, FX500s and PSW650...need to upgrade...

        Rb1080 trade-up to RB1090
        by AA6US
I recently bought an RB1080. My speakers are 2.5 ohms, and I have to put a 200W non-inductive resistor in series with one side of the speaker cable to bring it up to 6.5 ohms, which the RB1080 handles just fine (It did NOT like 2 ohms and now I see in the specs the RB1080 works only down to 4 ohm, not...
