Rotel RB-1072 versus RB-1562

Hi!
What is the difference between the prior Class D amps versus the current 15 series, eg: 1072 and 1562 or
1085 and 1565?
They are rated the same and both are Class D. So what is the difference?

I'm not sure about these particular models, but Rotel Digital Amps use pre-made B&O ICE modules. Generally the 15 series uses newer modules. If you're really interested this might be worth researching: http://www.icepower.bang-olufsen.com/

The old 10-series models are based on ICEpower's A, ASP and ASC-series models while the 15-series are based on the newer ASX-series. The new modules have better specifications and sound different, but which you prefer is really a matter of personal taste.
