    Rlc-1040 Wow

Perhaps I am just seeing things, but I could swear I my picture improved with this compared to the "M" product I was using. Oh well it matches much better also.

He said picture quality, not sound quality.

Why do you think there would be no difference in sound quality?

            I'm 100% Happy!

I tend to disagree. I have the RLC 1080 with my 52" XBR3 & S1 Blu-Ray Player running off it. The power in my house is terrible! Before I was using the Rotel, my TV picture and Blu-Ray had much static and snow in it. Whenever another electrical item would come on, the picture gets worse. I had quality cabels and hookups for my system. Now I'm not bothered with problems any more. The picture stays clear and beautiful no matter what is turned on. I also have my cable lines filtered by the RLC 1080. I'm very happy with how the Rotel works and would not go back to the way it was!

The RLC-1040 cleaned up by HD pic on my Mits 57" DLP. I was skeptical at first but seeing is believing. I, too, have my cable running through it.

Hello. I got the RLC-1040 and it is a great looking unit on a Rotel Rack ! Yes it can "clean" some artifacts in the electrical area. But if you have electrical problems in your house, you should make some modifications to correct that. The best think I did was to have install a new dedicated 20 amps circuit and a new ground rod.

does the RLC1040 have input and output for ethernet cable?
                  by BlazeMaster
I looked at the specs on both the RLC1040/1080 and the pictures shows that the RLC1040 has conditioned in/outlet for either phone line or ethernet line. I'm more interested in the conditioning for the ethernet cable, but the specs state that only the RLC1080 has the ability to condition ethernet cables....

                  Unconventional Bi-amping B&W 802D - WOW

Been listening to my CDs for hours now since I did my experiment of running the tweeter/mid drivers using the Mcintosh 402 and the bass drivers using the Bryston 7B-SSTs on the B&W 802Ds. I have been VERY pleasently surprized and VERY happy with the results. The issue I had after "upgrading"...

Are your friends WOW-ed over by your speakers?
                  by audiojunky
I had purchased a Polk Audio HT setup a few months ago and I remember when my friend came over, they were totally blown away by the sound coming from the movies and they said that we wouldn't have to go to a movie theater ever again.

                  Recently I got a B&W 804s/ Krell 2-channel setup...

Improved memory backup software for 1068?
                  by Bostonears
The firmware release notes for the RSP-1068 V1.2.3 to V1.2.4 include:
                  "- Improved memory backup software"

Can anyone please describe exactly what this means? What's the improvement? Is the user interface for the backup procedure different? Or, is something changed about...
