RB-1091 or RB-1092?

    RB-1091 or RB-1092?

    Whats the consensus, is there much difference between the two? I think the 1092 is a full dual mono design, so does the 1091 have one module in a half empty box? What are the advantages of one amp over the other (other than saving $500 for the stereo version)? Any thoughts appreciated

      In a 5.1 or 7.1 channel set up, the 3 most important channels are the front left/right and center. The 1091 helps fill in the center should you have the 1092's running the front left/rights.

          Rb1091-1092

          Hi mjb,

          I have a RB1092 for front, Rb1091 center and another RB1092 for rear.

          So I'm happy. (B&W803s-htm3s-805s)

          2x Rb1091 or 1x Rb192? I think nothing change. in Germany in book AUDIO I have read a test from this set = Is the same one or the other solution.
          Is a personal choice.

              I have a Rotel system (rb1091 for center, rb1092 for mains 803s and another
              rb1092 for rear 703.)

              For rear in place 703 I think the 805 will be the better solution but the XT4
              can be too a solution?

I thought that the 1090 took better control of the 802D in ALL aspects, from the bass to the diamond tweeter. The 1090 had greater stage...
