    Input Setup Help

I recently moved my cable box from my HT system to another tv as I rarely watched cable on the HT.As I was looking at the setup menus on my RSX 1057 to remove the cable box from the inputs and reassign the dvd and dvd audio I messed up the settings on Input setup. The video 1 input is supposed to be for dvd and when I select it I have no video until I push video 2.When trying to change it back to video 1 in setup I lose the video until I toggle back to video 2 .My component video cables are hooked up to component 1.When I select the multi input I have video for playing dvd audio discs.
I am trying to have dvd for video 1 input.
    Learning can be frustrating!

Sounds like video 1 isn't set for PROGRESSIVE. Leave it on video 2 and go into the setup menu and change PROGRESSIVE to on for video 1. I believe it's in the OTHER menu.

I went into the setup menu and the progressive setting was turned off.I turned progressive on ,but am now unable to see the osd menu .When I turn the osd menu off the video returns. Is there a way to return to the factory settings as if the unit is being setup for the first time?Or are there other options?

I managed to hook up a second video monitor via monitor out and was able to change the setup back to "progressive no".I think all is ok now.I really don't know what the progressive setting is used for.the manual seemed to say that no osd menu would be seen unless the osd on setting was used if you are using progressive.I had it set up that way but still no osd.
I still have a lot of questions concerning correct settings.Oh well maybe tomorrow.
        Thanks Kevin!!

Rotel 1060 Video connection with 1098/Plasma.
          by >>Angel<<
          Dear Rotel enthousiasts,

Yesterday I bought a Pioneer plasma screen to complete my Rotel setup
After concluding all the (required) connections I found out that there's a problem displaying (progressive or not) an 1060 image on the Plasma screen.
          I really hope...
