    Replacing Speaker connectors

Hi, could someone tell me how hard it would be to relace the speaker connectors from the old black and red ones to the new clear ones on the rb1090. I have heard they are a superior connector. Anyone know why?

    Thanks.

Sonically they are probably not worth the effort.

IMHO changing the speakers connectors is something "to do" at the really end of the system/room performance tunning, "just for fun"

It's not that hard, it just take time and must be done carefully not to damage anything.

If you change them, go for ultra high end binding posts, full copper, or even silver.

Also change the Am RCA, and change them too on speakers, pre-amp and source, just changing them at the amp output is for me useless.

Something easy and good to do time to time is to clean the contacts with alcohol, that help to keep them clean.

Hello I did that on my Yamaha NS-1000. I put some PureSonic conectors. It is much easy to connect big cables... If you have the time, do it !
