    Rdv-1093

    I noticed this is new on rotel.com. I searched and it seems this player has been mentioned before in other threads. What I do not understand is how exactly this player is any different from the rdv-1092. Same specs and price as far as I can tell.

      It's the same player with two small differences. It uses a new, faster transport, and it's RoHS compliant.

          Seems like they should have replaced the 1045 with an HDMI model and not the 1092.

              I need advice on Rotel DVD player. If the price was non issue, which is the better player, RDV 1080, RDV 1060 or RDV 1045, and can you tell me why? I'll be pairing up one of these with RSX 1057 and the display is Pioneer PDP-5070. One last bit of note is that I will be using it for both DVD watching...
