Has anyone had any experience bi-amping using an RB-1090 or RB-1092? I originally posted this in the B&W forum, but it may have been better placed here.
I am building a 5.1 system for 50% movies, 50% music (both 5.1 and 2.0), and I am thinking of 4×802D & HTM1D or 4×803D & HTM2D - I have not decided yet.
I was thinking of running these with 5×Rotel RB-1092 in Bi-Amp configuration - the reason being that I cannot afford the entire outlay in one go - so I will be buying the bits over the course of a couple of years.
This seems reasonable to me, because I can start with 2 channels then add the rest later.
What do you guys think about this? Has anyone heard this setup - i.e. RB-1092 bi-amp to 80*D?
Cheers,
Mark
