    Moving...need suggestions on switching speakers

    Current set-up

Rotel rmb 1095+rsx 1055+ B&W Cdm 9nt and cdm cnt. Sony 46 LCD, Denon DVD 2900, and some old paradigm monitors as surrounds...

moving to a condo with built in's and will no longer have room for towers.

    2 channel 60-70%, movies and TV 30-40%

Here is what I am thinking, but I tend to think one sided and any other perspective is welcome

Get rid of the rsx 1055 and get a new 1069 pre/pro. sell the B&W's and get a set of 805s for the 2 channel.

my problem enters in with the center and surrounds. The previous owner had it wired for sound and left 3 mounted PSB speakers, I have not looked at what model they are(no ladder to get up that high) but they look plastic.

I don't have room for a B&W htm(anything) center...they are way too big, as the TV is being mounted above a fireplace and I can leave a max of 10 inches but the less the better. On either side of the fireplace are built in's with shelves for the 805's. obviously I want the center and rears voiced as close as possible to the 805's

    suggest away...

Is your seating area going to be much off center? You may have better luck not running a center at all. Perhaps a FPM6 just for theater sound.

For rears, the old Nautilus SCM1's would be the best match. If you can cut in the walls, the Signature 7NT's are a close match.

My first post here. I have larned much, just following some of the trreads.
I was reading the thread "New CM-9 or Used 805S for same price." I find myself asking a similar question, except that i am looking at a used 703’s vs. a used pair of 805s’s. I can save a few bucks with...

CDM 1nt - with one sub, two subs, or upgrade speakers?
      by Dutch BW
I now listen to the CDM 1nt on their own, sounds really good but am missing bottem end frequencies. These speakers go down to 60hz, as a reference a 805s reaches 49hz.

      Would it be wise to:

a - Ad one good sub (for instance a asw700)
b - Ad two subs but a bit less...

      by june
      Hello All,

Will this center speaker fit under a Sony 34XBR950? This TV has a built in stand under the set.

What am I giving up going from CDM9 NT>805s
      by jonnyz
      Hi all

I am moving to a new condo this weekend with a great room type layout. The center wall is a fireplace with built ins on either side. as a result of this, I will not have room for the floor towers anymore and have decided to get a pair of 805's. I know they are a step up in lines...

Hello, This world of HiFi / HT is new to me and I need help. I was recently looking to replace my small center channel speaker for my meager 3.1 home theater setup. After visiting the big box store I thought I might find a nice used piece at a local stereo shop, what costly mistake! I did not purchace...
